How to use Saurcare Cleaner: the four steps, and what not to do

Saurcare Cleaner is ready to use. There is no mixing, no dilution and no measuring: the concentration on the label is the concentration that works. Everything below is printed on the pack; this is the longer version, with the reasoning.

1. Spray evenly on all cells. Work one panel at a time and cover the whole face, not just the visibly dirty patches. Soiling is rarely as uneven as it looks, and a half-treated panel dries with a visible boundary.

2. Let it sit for 2 to 3 minutes. This is the step people skip, and it is the one doing the work. The formula needs dwell time to lift baked-on organic deposits and break down the oily film that traffic soot leaves behind. Spraying and immediately rinsing gets you a wet dirty panel.

3. Brush the panels. A soft brush, light pressure. You are releasing deposits the solution has already loosened, not scrubbing them off. Pressure is what scratches anti-reflective coatings, and a scratched coating costs more output than the dirt did.

4. Wash with water thoroughly. Rinse until the run-off is clear. Leftover residue seeds the next layer of soiling and can create hot-spots.

Timing matters more than technique. Clean early morning or late evening, never on hot glass in the middle of the day. On a panel at 60°C the solution flashes off before it can dwell, and rapid cooling from cold water on hot glass is a genuine thermal-shock risk.

A few cautions, straight from the label. Keep it out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not ingest. Store somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight, and keep the container tightly closed after use. Do not mix it with other chemicals, including the household detergents people are often tempted to add.

How much you need. The 1 L bottle ships with the trigger sprayer and covers a season of cleaning on a typical 3 kWp home system. The 2 L and 5 L are refills for that same sprayer: cheaper per litre, and less plastic.
